Poznań, Łazienna Street 1A
The revitalization of this historic tenement is based on preserving its original neoclassical appearance from the 1850s while simultaneously renovating the building in accordance with modern construction standards. During the revitalization, every detail was taken care of in line with the recommendations of the conservation officer, and the original character of the place was preserved, appreciating the skill of the designers and craftsmen – plasterers, painters, and carpenters – who worked on this building over 150 years ago.
A particular challenge was the initial technical condition of the building, which had been abandoned for nearly 20 years and was at risk of collapse. The scope of structural work included reinforcing the foundations, replacing the floors, and completely overhauling the roof structure. Only after carrying out the work to secure the building's framework could we begin further revitalization. We are extremely proud to have managed to bring the building back to life and save it for future generations of Poznań residents.
