A tenement with soul – Mielżyńskiego 22. From the history of a bank to modern interiors

The tenement house at 22 Mielżyńskiego Street, dating back to the early 20th century and previously serving as a bank headquarters, has undergone a comprehensive adaptation for the needs of 49 residential units. The renovation of the building included not only the transformation of space but also bringing the units to a turnkey state, including full equipment, which ensured comfort for the new residents.

An interesting discovery during the renovation work was terrazzo mosaics, which had been hidden for years under a layer of ceramic tiles. They were carefully restored, bringing them back to their former glory. In addition, during the works, the bank's former treasury rooms were discovered, which have now become an integral part of the interior design of the building's common areas, giving the space a unique character and reminding us of the tenement's historical purpose. Thanks to these works, the tenement on Mielżyńskiego 22 combines modernity with historical heritage, creating an exceptional living space.
