Poznań, Czarnieckiego Street 5
The renovation of the building at Czarnieckiego Street 5 in Poznań, formerly part of the Gotthilf Berger Foundation's Complex from around 1909, was a complex revitalization of an object of exceptional historical value. The building, listed in the register of monuments under number A428, required special care to preserve its historical character while adapting it to contemporary usage standards.
The renovation works included a complete refurbishment of the townhouse, focusing on the restoration of the historic facade, which was returned to its original appearance. A particular challenge was the reconstruction of the copper dome of the roof, which was rebuilt according to historical photographs, restoring the building's unique look. Additionally, a comprehensive modernization of the installations was carried out, and the interior of the building was brought to a developer's finish, creating 22 new residential units ready for arrangement. Thanks to these efforts, the townhouse at Czarnieckiego 5 has been given a second life, while preserving its historical charm.
